Variable Products
Variable products are the most complex to enter so we have started with this category first. If you understand how to create these items, you will be able to enter the other products easily. Variable products include such items as a t-shirt which can come in a variety of sizes, colours and styles each of which is a variation. To properly list these products you must allow customers to make a selection on each of these options at the point of purchase.
In the initial setup of your store, you should have already created tables of attributes for the merchandise you sell. This would be a table of sizes with options X-Small, Small, Medium, etc. Likewise, you should have a table of colours. Once you start adding products you can create additional attributes and add new options to an attribute table.
