Grouped Products

The Grouped Product category makes it easy to combine several items of similar type making it easier for clients to select them. For example: you may combine the pants and jacket of a weatherproof suit together as customers commonly order these together. Only simple products can be combined into a group. Here’s the process to follow:

  1. Create the Grouped Product according to the instructions.
  2. Create the Simple Products that form part of the group and select the group when entering this data.

Grouped products do not have an SKU # or a price. In the store, these products display the price range based on the high & low price of the items in the group. The illustration shown below is an example of a grouped product, in this case two recordings. A customer can choose either or both of these recordings by entering the quantity. When added to the car, both items will added as individual line items.
